But certainly I must go to church, tithe, ask for forgiveness, do some work of piety. No. I should do these things but they are not required for eternal life. What I must do is believe that someone else did everything that is required for my eternal salvation. If I do not believe this then I do not believe that Christ is sufficient for me. Work hard for God but never believe that your efforts save you. Only the work of Jesus will ever do that. Believe.
