While you're waiting for the service to begin, try today's online jigsaw puzzle. Or perhaps, this one.
Third Sunday after Pentecost
Order of Worship
Prayers of the Church
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Lord of Elijah and the prophets, your Word quietly sits on the shelves and coffee tables of the world. You barely whisper to us from these grottos. So, give us courage to go out to you and listen and to proclaim your Word to the spiritually deaf. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Father in heaven, when we pray the fourth petition, help us remember that you are our portion. You are our sufficiency, so fill us with your goodness and lead us in the path of life so that we may come into your presence and at last, be filled with joy. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord of liberty, you have set us free, so help us to continue standing firmly in the faith, holding our ground, walking by your Spirit, loving you with our whole hearts, and loving our neighbors as ourselves, especially those of the household of God and those near to our hearts, these whom we name before you now in our minds and upon our lips… Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Jesus, as we seek to follow you, we proclaim your kingdom this morning at St. Paul’s. Now, make us fit citizens of your domain, sending us everywhere to proclaim the kingdom of God. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy—through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
We invite you to join us for an in-person service. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, family-like environment. Our worship services are traditional and liturgical. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
Our services are mask-optional.
