Fifth Sunday after Pentecost
Order of Worship
You may watch the sermon only here.
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Thank you, Lord God, for desiring to walk with us. Help us to listen to you, praying as we walk together. Give us the will and strength to do your commandments so that you might not set your face against us, but make your face shine upon us. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We would bless you always, Lord, and praise you constantly. But we are distracted by many things. Help us to take you seriously, properly fearing you before the day is long past and we have forgotten altogether the God who has delivered us from bondage to our various Egypts. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Give us memory and understanding, Father, of Luther’s famous saying that we are both sinners and saints. Impress upon our hearts that we poor sinners have an advocate with you, Jesus Christ, the conciliation of our sins, and so, our reconciliation with you. Through the remembrance of this wondrous knowledge, strengthen our faith and give us his peace. Holy Spirit, bring, even now, this word to all those who are suffering in any way, especially these whom we name before you even now in our hearts and with our voices… Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Thank you, Jesus, for sending us the Helper, the Spirit of Truth, who teaches us all things and brings to our remembrance all that you have said to us in your Word. Help us then, with this knowledge of your will, bear the fruit of love for you, keeping your commandments. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Our worship services are traditional and liturgical. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
