The Prayers of the Church
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Help us to never grow weary in watching for you in your Word, Lord. Help us to listen when you speak. And may our souls not be puffed up with religion, so that we may live by faith and not by works. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You alone are our Rock and salvation. Help us to be content with our refuge in you so that our hope is certain. May our trust always be in you, O Mighty Rock of glory and salvation. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You are our life — indeed, the sure promise of everlasting life through Jesus Christ. Keep us then, in sincere faith in him, and fan into flame the gifts you have given your church, that we might have a share in the power of God through the peace of the gospel. We pray this peace particularly for those whom we name before you now... (Pause for people’s naming, then…) Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Finally, Lord God, increase our faith in Christ Jesus so that we may do our duty, ministering to our neighbors because you have loved us and called us to love one another. In so doing, may you be honored and praised forevermore. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
We invite you to join us for an in-person service. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, family-like environment. Our worship services are traditional and liturgical. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
Our services are mask-optional.
