Prayers of the Church
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
O Consuming Fire, we fear you who can destroy both body and soul in the eternal fires of Hell. Yet, we also love and trust you for Christ’s sake. Help us to live so that we trust in your promises instead of our feelings of failure. And bring us into the light of your glory so we may praise you evermore. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We give you thanks, O Lord, for your steadfast love endures forever. You are the God of gods and Lord of lords, and have been faithful to your people from ages past. Lead us through the wilderness of this life so that we, like Moses and all the saints, may see you face to face. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
While we were still sinners, you died for us, Jesus. And as we remain sinners in this life, we give you our deepest thanks that you justify us through faith in you. Give us your Spirit’s strength and courage, that we may endure until the end. We ask also for strength and courage and healing for these whom we name before you now... Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Son of Man, you have ascended to your Father’s right hand in heaven. Give us increasing faith that we may believe in you and have eternal life, for Christ’s sake and through his holy Name. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

We invite you to join us for an in-person service. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, family-like environment. Our worship services are traditional and liturgical. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
