Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Lord of the Israel of God, we have no righteousness in ourselves, but in you alone. The blood of the covenant is upheld by you and your word of promise. Help us to depend upon this truth, that salvation, righteousness, and justification come through faith in you, not through works of the law, so that you alone may receive glory. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Eternal King and only Son of the Father, help us always to serve you with fear, love, and trust, taking blessed refuge in you so that we might not perish in the way. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
God of Majestic Glory, help us to pay no attention to religious myths but instead, pay attention to you own glory, as a light shining from the darkness. We ask that the peace of the Morning Star might rise in the hearts of all those suffering today, particularly for these whom we name before you now… Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Beloved Son of God, transfigured and glorious Lord, speak to us for your servants listen. Give us courage to stand up and fear not, to look up and in our looking, see you and you alone. Fill our world with your own brilliant light that having eyes, we may see. Overshadow our lives that having ears, we may hear you speak. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
We invite you to join us for an in-person service. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, family-like environment. Our worship services are traditional and liturgical. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
