Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Lord, give us that Living Water that we may never thirst again. Refresh us with yourself so that we might finally become a people who do not grumble but instead, trust in you for our every need. Move us beyond quarreling with each other and with you, so that we may rage properly upon our own sinfulness. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We come into your presence today, O Rock of our Salvation, with songs of praise and eager to hear your Word. Overwhelm us with your grace as we gather at your table, so that we are assured of your favor and oour justification with you for Christ’s sake. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Move in the hearts and minds of all who are present this morning. Cause them to have a firm confidence in your love and therefore, that peace that transcends understanding. We ask this peace for all our suffer and mourn today, especially for these whom we name before you now…

You are the source of eternal life, Lord Jesus, a spring of water welling us up into heaven. We ask your blessing upon Girl Scout Troop 743, the scouts and their leaders, that they would drink deeply of you throughout their lives. On dry days in the distant future, cause them to look back on this day and remember to drink of the Living Water. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
