Order of Worship
Download today's bulletin PDF for the entire order of worship and more.
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Cut us to the heart with your law, O Lord, so that your Spirit may ever drive us to gospel grace. Help us to long for your forgiveness by coming to your table, remembering that we are baptized, and hearing your promises with faith. May your promise truly extend to our children and to those who are yet far off. Cut them to the heart too, so that they too may believe the promise of the gospel. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
When we are surrounded by frustration, distress, illness, and even death, deliver us and preserve us according to your will. Be gracious, Father, to all those suffering and mourning among us, especially to these whom we name before you now…
Deliver all our souls from death, so that we may walk with you in the land of the living. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You have ransomed us, God, from a futile way of life, redeeming us by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Purify our souls by giving us strength and courage to be obedient to the truth. Your word is truth. May that word abide in our hearts forever, that we may always call on you as God and Father. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Draw near to us, Jesus and give us the hope of the resurrection. Interpret the Scriptures to us, that we may know you, fearing, loving, and trusting you above all things. Stay with us throughout the day and open our eyes each time we hear the Scriptures today, that we may believe you are risen indeed! Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we do livestream our services here, on YouTube, and Facebook, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing though. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
