Order of Worship
Download today's bulletin PDF for the entire order of worship and more.
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Your Word is vital, Lord. Help us to not neglect it, nor to fail to show up for the daily distribution. Give us the spirit to devote ourselves individually and corporately to the apostles’ teaching and to prayer so that your word may continue to increase, that thereby others may come to faith in you. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Our hope is in you alone, Lord. We do not trust politics or politicians, political parties, government, social agencies, welfare, cultural correctness. Nor is our hope in pensions, retirement plans, full grocery shelves, or cattle in the stall. If all these things disappear, give us courage to rejoice that you are the God of our salvation. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Give us the trusting hearts of children, gracious Father, so that we may come to you for the fresh milk of the Word, tasting and seeing that you are good. Though your church may increasingly be rejected by the vocal minority, we know that your chosen people are precious in your sight. May all those who are suffering among us know they are cherished by you, that they may bear their suffering with dignity and honor, knowing that glory with you awaits. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Give us continued faith to believe with hearts untroubled about the future. You have told us that our eternity is on your hand, that you have prepared an everlasting home for all who believe in you. May we hear daily that promise in your Word, that we may live out our time on earth fearing, loving, and trusting in you. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we do livestream our services here, on YouTube, and Facebook, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing though. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
