Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs...
Hover over the chaos of your church, Holy Spirit. Cause our various divisions to become the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church that we profess in the Creed. May the world know that the Father has sent you, Lord Jesus Christ, and that you love the world even as the Father loves you. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Your name, O Lord, is majestic in all the earth. When we look at your creation, we wonder why you are mindful of us. Why would your remember sinners like us? And yet, you do. Not only have you come and saved us but you have crowned us with your glory and honor. You have given us dominion over the works of your hands, and given us your Word to proclaim throughout the creation. Be with Mark and Julie Wilhelm as they travel to the mission field. Open their hearts and mouths to your creation, that your kingdom is established there. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord God, help us profess and proclaim you as Peter did, boldly giving witness to your saving work. Cause our flesh to dwell in hope through you, who are the undoing of the pain of death. Be gracious, Lord, to those suffering and mourning among us, that they too may know the confident hope that is theirs through Christ Jesus—no matter how they might feel this morning. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We confess, Jesus, that you are in charge; the Father has given you all authority on earth and through the heavens. You have told us to “go...and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Give us inspired courage, that we may observe what you have commanded. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing though. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
