Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
We have come, by your grace, Father, to have faith in your Son. Nevertheless, may we press on know you more fully. Give us proper judgment, that we may offer you our steadfast love, and do so, not just by keeping faith but by serving our neighbor. May such service in love be pleasing to you and cause us to know you, as befitting, in true fear, love, and trust in Christ’s work, not our own. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
In a world that seems bent upon its own destruction and damnation, teach your church good judgment and knowledge. Help us to delight in your law that we might keep your word and continue to believe in you, the Living Word, Lord Jesus. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We believe in your promises, God, but our old nature keeps wanting to fulfill them—even though the promise depends on your grace, not our deeds, morality, and religious devotion. Teach us in your Word to hope against hope, Holy Spirit, particularly when we find no reason to have hope. Be gracious, Lord, to those suffering and mourning among us, that they too may know the confident and continuing hope that is theirs through Christ Jesus—no matter how they might feel today. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Thank you for calling we sinners, Lord Jesus. You have invited the sick and the lame, the destitute beggars that we are, to the marriage feast of the Lamb. For you came earth to call sick sinners who need the Great Physician’s healing and salvation. Give us to know that we are truly sick so that we may need you more and more, as the Day draws near. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing though. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
