We thank you, Lord, that you love us with a steadfast, everlasting love. Yet you have not loved us because we are special in any way. We have been rebellious and reckless sinners but you still love us, for Christ’s sake. By your grace alone you have chosen to love the children of Abraham: those who have faith in you. Increase our faith, O God, that we may always be at peace in your love. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
May our faith in you be as immovable as Blue Ridge Mountains. Cause us to abide forever in you, Holy Spirit, and you in us. Surround us and protect us from our old natures, that we might love you above all else, and do good to our neighbor. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Even in such times as these, Father, work for the good of your church. Conform us to the image of your Son. Turn any complaints we have into praises, for we know that these momentary struggles are preparing us for an incomparable and eternal glory. Fix our eyes, and those of all who mourn and suffer today, upon you—not upon what is seen or felt and is only temporary, but upon the unseen and everlasting glory you have prepared for those who believe. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. The wonder is, that you have come into this world to bring your kingdom near—even to us. Grant us your kingdom and your righteousness, Jesus, both now and at the end of the age. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
