Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Our righteousness has been revealed through you, Lord, for you alone are our righteousness. The full extent of that righteousness has yet to be revealed but soon it will come in its fulness. You are still gathering the elect throughout time, those who would believe in you for their righteousness—a righteousness above religion or morality or anything else, so that no one may boast save in the grace of God. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Make your way to be known throughout the earth. Bless the work of our missionaries, that they may see your word does not return to you in vain. Let the earth yield its increase, not just in its crops but in the field that is white for harvest. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Help us to not bend the knee to the idols of culture, for you have been our God, redeeming us from the old ways and our old nature. Your calling is irrevocable; your salvation cannot be called back. We thank you, Father, that you have not rejected us, that the mercy afforded us through Chris’s cross, is offered to all. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Give us the faith of the Canaanite woman, that we may know that mercy which comes through trust in you. Even as we have entrusted Loralei to you this morning through the water of baptism, we trust that your word of salvation is for her and for all our households. Increase our faith so that we may take comfort in your promise. Support Gracie and all of Loralei’s family, Holy Spirit, including this congregation, that Loralei may grow up in a strong faith that she has learned from us all. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing though. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
