Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
We thank you, Good Shepherd, that you have searched for us and found us, that you have rescued us, pastured us, and given us rest in you. Continue to protect us, Lord, from false teachers and others who would trample the good pasture of your church, so that we may always be that communion of saints with you in our midst. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You are our Shepherd King, providing us with all good things: protection, salvation, and daily bread. You care for all our needs. You are the great King, the King of kings, and our hearts are bowed before you, for you are not only our King, but our Maker. Keep us in your kingdom, so that we are not undone. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
In dying, Lord, you have destroyed our death. Great King that you are, you have even put death in subjugation under your feet. Yet, it is in you that we who believe are made alive to live in your kingdom. Give us grace to believe in your holy Word and lead godly lives here in time and there in eternity. May your kingdom come, King Jesus, even now. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We are the people of your pasture, the sheep of your hand. Keep us in your fold; let nothing in this life cause us to waver in disbelief. When the troubles of this life appear, whether they be financial, familial, relational, or troubles of the body or soul, give us spirits that hold to you. When sickness and death come calling for us or those we love, give us trust in you, O rock of our salvation. For all those who suffer and mourn among us, comfort them and give them such faith that they may at last hear their Shepherd King speak: “Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing though. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
