Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
You revealed your glory to the wandering Hebrews in a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire. In the radiant glory of your incarnate Son, you have shown us an exact imprint of your nature, O God. But we know that the Son of Man is coming again in power and great glory to judge the nations. Until that time, watch over your church and keep her steadfast in your word and will. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We would hear what you have to say, Lord. We know that we are sinners, but we ever stand in need of your forgiving word. You have surely covered all our sin, for Christ’s sake. May we always remember that your salvation is near to those who fear you, and so, be kept in faith until that Day. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We all have family and friends and neighbors who do not believe. So, we are grateful that you are patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that we might come to repentance and faith. Teach us all what kind of people we should be as we await the coming of your everlasting kingdom. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
On this rainy Lord’s Day, we remember our baptisms. We give you thanks that you have baptized us with water and the Holy Spirit, calling us your very own. Help all those who suffer and mourn among us to remember their baptisms, and so, also remember that they are loved and cared for by the most devoted Father. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing though. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
Please notice that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
