Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
You have made for us the richest, finest feast and serve it to us on the mountain of your church. This is a feast like no other, that money cannot buy. You, Lord Jesus, have purchased it with your blood. Indeed, we are bought with a price. You have devoured death forever. You are the sin-eater and have saved us from sin and death, and also hell so that we may be resurrected like you to live in your glory forevermore. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
God, you are our chosen portion, the cup of our salvation. You have shown us the path of life that goes through your death and resurrection. Give us courage and strength to ever follow you so that we may always know the joy of being in your presence, both now and evermore. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Give us wisdom to hold to your word, Lord, to always believe in you, standing firmly in the gospel of Christ Jesus. The Holy Scriptures tell us that he was crucified, died, was buried, and that he was raised on the third day. We stand in this gospel by your grace alone. Give us more grace that we may continue in the faith until that Day when you raise us all from the dead. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
The angel at the sepulcher informs us that the one we seek is no longer in the grave. “He has risen.” He is the crypt no longer. Give us faith to believe in what the world deems crazy, foolish. Give us a confidence in the cross and empty tomb, a trust in Christ that already gives us new life, heralding the resurrected life in the glory of your kingdom. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing though. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join Pastor Ryman on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
