Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Unite your church, Lord. Make us one heart and one mind in you. Gather us around Thomas’ confession, “My Lord and my God,” instead of those dogmas that divide us. May you, the risen Lord, be our testimony, and may your great grace be upon us all. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
God, you have raised up, quite literally, a king and priest, a Savior who is Christ the Lord. May you be praised throughout creation, in the heavens and the earth, but especially in your church. May we extol your name, Lord, for your name alone is exalted; your majesty is above earth and heaven. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You are the brightness of Heaven come down to earth, Lord Jesus. You are the eternal Word, the true light who enlightens everyone. You shine in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome you. Indeed, you have conquered darkness, death, and the devil so that our fellowship may be with each other—and with your Father and Spirit. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Give us your peace, Jesus. Calm our fears. Make us a people who fear, love, and trust in you above all else. Come and stand among us; speak your word of pardon, so that we may be moved to forgive those who sin against us. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing though. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join Pastor Ryman on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
