Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Holy, holy, holy are you, O Lord of hosts. Though high and lifted up, you have condescended to come among us, filling this house of prayer and worship with your glory. But indeed, the whole earth is full of your glory. Make us aware of your glory in this place, though also in every place we are throughout the week. Give us reminders daily, Holy Spirit, that our guilt has been taken away, and our sin atoned for through Christ alone. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
God of glory, your voice thunders. Nonetheless, speak to us, Father. Speak to the world! We have the Word of God in our church, in our homes, on our phones, in devotional books and other literature. This is as certainly God’s thundering voice as if you yourself were speaking to us. Give us grace to hear and obey, remembering particularly our baptisms where your voice is most truly and manifestly over the waters. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We give thanks for the birth of Nora Grace Plummer, asking that she and her mother may grow strong in bodies and spirits. Fill with Jesus’ blessed Spirit all those among us who are recovering, or ill, or mourning, that they may dwell in hope of the resurrection of Christ. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We would see your kingdom, Lord God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We thank you that we have been born again by water and the Spirit. Help us now to work our salvation with fear and trembling, honoring your name and Day above all others. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing through. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join Pastor Ryman on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
