Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Lord God, we ask that you call new shepherds of your flock, to lead your people in the coming generations. Set before us pastors and other leaders who will care for us and lead us to look always to you for our righteousness. And finally, lead us into that glorious fold you have prepared for all your people. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We are always looking for that next happy meal. We are prone to wander from one unsatisfying bite to another in hopes of comfort and satisfaction. But we are never filled. Change our diet from fast food TV and Internet, from unhealthy and mindless binging. Lead us in the good pasture and still, refreshing spring of your Word. May our cups overflow with the bounty that is you alone. And may we inhabit forever the home you have prepared for us. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Thank you for revealing to us the mystery of Christ and for making us partakers in the promise of the gospel. Since we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him, we ask you to make known through your church the wisdom of God to our neighbors and to the world. Bless our missionaries and ministry partners with courage and confidence to preach the light of Jesus. We ask this especially today for Pastor Licht and all those at Lutherans for Life.
Help those among us who are sad, suffering, mourning, or ill to remember that they too have been made partakers in the unsearchable riches of Christ. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Help us not to trust in our own means but to look to you or all we need. Increase our faith. Give us to know that you alone are sufficient for the day, and that you hold our tomorrows in your mighty hand. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing through. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join Pastor Ryman on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
