Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Lord, we get tired. We get disillusioned. We loose focus. Give us rest; reassure us; and provide the sharpness of your Spirit. Bring us always, in the end, back to you, to trust in your grace so that we may know your power is perfected in weakness. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We will give you the praise, Lord God, despite the ups and downs of life. We know that the angel of deliverance is with those who fear you, who put their trust in you alone. We ask that you would watch over the Brendle family today, that you would bless them and all who care for them with peace. Comfort them with the promise that Iverson now shares in the resurrection of his Lord. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Help us through daily contrition and repentance, to be drowned and die with all sins and evil lusts, and, cause your new man come forth and arise daily that we may live before youin righteousness and purity forever. We rejoice that you have claimed Cannon Wilson Boling as your own, and ask that your Spirit’s power to be at work in him daily as he grows in faith and stature before you. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Be with those who mourn, who are ill, or who are suffering in any way. Draw them, Father, to your Son, so that they may hunger and thirst only for your righteousness and salvation. Give them the clear assurance that you do not cast aside sinners, that is, those who recognize their sin and desire to come to their senses, and who thirst for your righteousness. Satisfy them with yourself. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing through. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join Pastor Ryman on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
