Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Deliver us, O Ancient of Days, into the kingdom you have prepared for us from the foundation of the world. Though the books will be opened for judgment, and we are surely guilty, satisfy your high court through the blood of Christ Jesus, and have us never trust in our works or devotion so that on the glorious Day we may be found in your kingdom of priests and kings through the merits of Christ alone. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You reign in majesty, Lord God. You are from everlasting and so is your throne. Despite the evil we see in the world and the untruths we hear in the surrounding culture, help us to believe always that your righteous decrees are trustworthy and true. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You are and were and yet shall be for you are the King from before time and the ruler of all kings of the earth. You are the beginning and the end, the A and the Z, the first and the last, the Almighty. As you are coming again in power and great glory, we ask that you would keep us in the one true faith until that Day. We especially ask that those who are suffering, homebound, and hospitalized may take courage in the knowledge of your faithfulness, and be strengthened in body, soul, and spirit. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Give us ears to hear you, Jesus, and in doing so, listen the truth and obey it so that you may be glorified in your church and finally, on that last Day, in all the world. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
Though we livestream our services, we invite you to join us for an in-person service if you live in the area or are passing through. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment. Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
