Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Gracious God, who bestows spiritual and earthly gifts upon us each day. We ask for assistance through the power of the Holy Spirit, enabling us to deepen our understanding of you and to spread the hope found in your Son, Jesus Christ. May your Spirit guide us in using these gifts to support our neighbors in their times of need, to help bear their burdens, and to impart the peace that comes from Christ alone. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Teach us to share joyfully as if we are at a wedding celebration! Fill our hearts with the promise of your Son, who offers us the new wine the gospel represents. May this abundance always delight us while your Spirit revitalizes our souls. Where there is a vessel of doubt, pour your living water into it and transform it into a new creation. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lead this congregation through dedicated teaching and preaching of both the law and gospel. Help us consistently seek your wisdom to direct our hearts and minds in all our activities, services, and community involvement. We ask your blessing and request that our work and educational efforts be fruitful. Help our students grow academically and spiritually. We ask for hearts that inspire each other to nurture our children, grandchildren, and neighbors in the knowledge of your word. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Father, we humbly ask for your healing throughout the world. Where there is a natural disaster, we pray for aid to come quickly. Where there is war, we pray for your peace to be enduring. For those who are sick, send them merciful servants who can treat and heal them to the fullness of health. Where there is persecution of the faithful, give them heavenly endurance to profess the glory of our Lord, Jesus Christ, in times of duress. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
We would love for you to worship with us in-person if you live in the area or are passing through. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
At St. Paul's you may expect traditional worship of liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday with a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
