Eternal Father, we ask your Holy Spirit to descend on our hearts and minds. Give us ears to hear your Law and Gospel. Guide us in our meditations, prayers, and studies so that we may come to know the fullness of your Grace. Help us recognize our transgressions, but more importantly, help us embrace the salvation you have given us through Christ Jesus. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
The heavens indeed declare your Glory, O God of all creation! Grant that our senses perceive your gentle voice. When our hearts become anxious with doubts, keep us still in your Son. Hold us together with your Word as you hold each day, the earth, the sun, and the heavens in perfect relationship. Revive our souls with your nourishing grace that is in your Son, our Rock and Redeemer. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Gracious Lord, as one body in you, we ask for your Holy Spirit to guide us in our daily interactions. May your wisdom and gifts shine through your servants here. Help us stay faithful to you and to each other, empowering one another through teaching and example. In times of distress or joy, remind us that we are all called here, enduring together, many parts of the one body of Christ Jesus. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Father, we humbly seek your healing for the world. We have heard and embraced the Good News. Empower your Church on earth to share this with our neighbors. Enable us to reflect God’s mercy in our vocations through the examples we set. Provide us with opportunities in our relationships to uplift our loved ones when they are downcast with your words. Instill in us the courage to declare the freedom your Son brings to hearts yearning for liberation. Illuminate us with your salvation’s light, granting sight to those who are blind so they may come to believe in you. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
We would love for you to worship with us in-person if you live in the area or are passing through. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
At St. Paul's you may expect traditional worship of liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday with a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
