Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Eternal Father, grant your church on earth the wisdom to speak your words. Give your servants a steadfast faith to proclaim Christ crucified. Make your church a strong refuge to which we may continually come and be renewed with your blessings. Put the words of your Son in our mouths, that we might speak your authority in order to build and plant where you will, and tear down and pluck up where you command. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Great is your Mercy, O Lord. We pray your Holy Spirit will be with this congregation in all faith. May you open our hearts to deep devotion and Scriptures teaching beyond Sunday School, worship services, and Bible studies. Grant us many more opportunities to fellowship in the breaking of bread and prayers together so that we might grow in faith and grow your church. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Gracious Lord, teach us the way of your love. Help us remember that you have taught us real love through the crucified and risen Christ. Grant us the wisdom to understand that without Christ, we have no hope, gain, or good thing. As you, Lord, are never-ending, your love is never-ending; grant that we may abide in your loving word so that we find strength for our families, friends, and neighbors. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Father, grant that we may be delivered from our enemies. When we grow tired, restore us. When we have doubts, help us to know the purposes to which you have called us, regardless of our age or station, so that we may seek to do your will. Give us your steadfast love, that we may better love one another, whether we are brought together in family or faith. Grant that we may be a body of believers who glorifies you. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
We would love for you to worship with us in-person if you live in the area or are passing through. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
At St. Paul's you may expect traditional worship of liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday with a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
