Order of Worship
Download today's bulletin PDF for the entire order of worship and more.
Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Glorious and Eternal Father, guide us in hearing your Son. Assist us in recognizing his voice and words in Scripture, knowing that the kingdom is present for those who have faith. Inspire us to repent and ignite our hearts, minds, and spirits to worship and obey him with reverent fear, profound joy, and love. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
O Christ our Lord, make us loyal witnesses to your splendid glory. Allow us to recognize your brilliance even in the darkest moments. Grant that our eyes remain alert and our minds receptive when you call us to see and hear. Help us convey the words of the heavenly voice to our neighbors so that we all may learn to listen and comprehend. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
O Son of God, may our hope forever rest in you. Instill Your testimonies within our hearts and the hearts of all humanity. Aid us in seeking your presence above all other pursuits. When we are weighed down by sin, remind us of your gospel, so we can hold onto the promise you have given us. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Father, we present to you everyone enduring pain in body, mind, and spirit. Help us support them as a church community. Watch over this congregation and guide our actions to match your will. Aid us in sharing Jesus' mercy with everyone we encounter. May we thrive in grace and nurture the fruits that sustain all who seek your goodness. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
We would love for you to worship with us in-person if you live in the area or are passing through. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
At St. Paul's you may expect traditional worship of liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday with a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
