Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Eternal Father, grant your church on earth the ability to trust in you above all. Provide us with unwavering faith in times of suffering, and guide us to reflect in serene silence. Shine the light of your presence upon your church, O Lord, so that we may continually find rest in the peace of your Son. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, please give all who seek you the ability to hear your message and the openness to embrace it. When we struggle with sin, guide us to truly hear your words that lead to repentance and forgiveness. Empower your pastors, missionaries, teachers, and the laity, enabling us to faithfully follow your direction in our thoughts, words, and actions, even amidst persecution. Send forth those you have appointed to share your message with all who are ready to hear. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Father, we lift up everyone who serves you around the globe. Empower all the missions you have set up through the strength of your Word. Today, we particularly pray for our partner, Spiritual Orphans Network. Sustain them physically and spiritually, and let their efforts bear fruit according to your divine plan. Guide all of your churches and missions to uplift and support one another so that we may more effectively serve those whom you have drawn to your church through faith in your Son. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You draw all nations to yourself, Lord Jesus, and form us into your church. Through Baptism, we are now citizens of your heavenly Kingdom. Guide us in sharing this with our neighbors, and remind us always of your sacrifice. Teach us to follow the path you have laid out for us and to stand firm in you, our Savior, Redeemer, and God. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
At St. Paul's you may expect traditional worship of liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday with a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
