Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
O Father of mercy and grace. Create earnest faith in us that we may serve you wholly with heart, mind, and spirit, and love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Lead the hearts of all people to your Son who takes our sin to the cross, so that all who believe might be saved. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, you have taught us that we should continue to pray in every situation, whether good or bad. Give us your strength that we may endure all things, and bring us to the remembrance of your words, that it is you Lord who vindicates his people, and you Lord who has compassion on his servants, and nothing else. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Father, we lift in prayer those who serve You worldwide. We especially remember the persecuted Church and the seminarians, pastors, and missionaries You are nurturing and equipping. Give them confidence and strength to carry our messages from house to house and to bring a light to the nations that is your Son! Thank You, Lord, for answering all who need you through Christ Jesus and for being our salvation so that along with them, and with your church in the world we may sing the praise: Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, grant us the grace to forgive as we have been forgiven. You forgave betrayal, denial, lies, condemnation, humiliation, and violence. Help us remember that you carried our sins on the cross so that, through your strength, we may not be lost but enter the heavenly kingdom through your righteousness and receive your salvation. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
At St. Paul's you may expect traditional worship of liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday with a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
