Have breakfast with our youth and their families, who are cooking and serving breakfast after the service in the fellowship hall. Then be with us at 10:30am for worship featuring sacred music with trumpet accompaniment, readings from the Holy Bible, the Lord's Supper, a chat with our children and Pastor Lord, and a message from Pastor Ryman about the sum of the gospel.
Easter Resurrection Service
Order of Worship
Download today's bulletin PDF for the entire order of worship and more.
Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Lord Jesus, you have risen, and you have made known to all that you are the path to life. Give us a zeal to share this with everyone we encounter, so that they might know life in you. Instruct our hearts with your words and deeds when we are troubled and burdened, and guide us always to your presence, where there is fullness of joy. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, it is in you that we have hope for all things. You make faith in us so that we may believe in you and the power of your resurrection. You give us life eternal and take away the sins of all who believe. You have made in us a church that, through word and sacrament, receives your presence and grace. Make us good stewards of all that you have given so that we may share this hope with all. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Father, we lift in prayer those who serve You throughout the world. As your whole church celebrates the resurrection, we lift to you those who preach today amid persecution, and in areas of the world where your word is not welcomed. Preserve them, O God, and be a refuge for all! Give your church endurance, fearlessness, and confidence to confess boldly, “Jesus is risen, He is risen indeed.” Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, bless our guests and visitors whom You have brought to be with us today. Alight the hearts of those who have not yet accepted Your victory over sin and death through Your body. Grant them the faith to believe that in You alone there is eternal life, forgiveness of sins, and everlasting peace. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
At St. Paul's you may expect traditional worship of liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday with a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
