Order of Worship
Download today's bulletin PDF for the entire order of worship and more.
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Even as you did in the time of the Apostles, Lord, we know you are adding to your church today too. There is rapid growth in Africa and Asia and particularly, in India and Indonesia. We are glad for your church there, Lord, but we ask that you add also to our numbers at St. Paul’s more than ever before so that you are praised here and through the missionary efforts of this congregation throughout the United States the world. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We praise you, Father, for you have raised up a powerful horn of salvation in our Savior, Jesus the Messiah. Draw all your people near to him this Lord’s Day, so that you are praised throughout the whole church on earth. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You have loved us, Jesus, and freed us from our sins by your blood. By your decree and righteous death, you have made us a kingdom, priests to our God and Father. Give us such grace as to know that we each have a holy calling to fulfill — vocations that bring your glory and rightful honor in your church. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Stand among us today and give us your peace. Send us with your peace into the world — the peace of your Word and presence. Give your peace especially to all of those among us who are suffering in any way. Give them grace to bear this cross. Your will be done. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
At St. Paul's you may expect traditional worship of liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday with a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scripture. We think you will love this part of the service.
