Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Gracious Lord, we ask for your blessings on this and all congregations who proclaim your word and administer your grace. Give us a zeal like St. Paul to testify to the gospel and the truth of Jesus Christ in the face of fear, affliction, or persecution. Make us good teachers to all whom you call here, and all whom we may encounter, that all might come to repentance toward you and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Eternal God. Strengthen those you have called to raise children and those who are called to be mothers. Guide them and keep them in your word and make them strong proclaimers of your Son to their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Give them endless joy in times of great blessing and pour out your mercy in times of trial. Grant them, Lord, wisdom, peace, strength, patience, and steadfast love, that they may continue to give all whom you have entrusted to their care. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, our good shepherd, we seek your blessings this week as we prepare to host many of your called pastors, seminarians, church council members, and lay leaders here at St. Paul's. We ask for your mercy and grace upon those traveling great distances, that they arrive here without incident and return home safely and restored. We ask your Holy Spirit to guide and bless our conversations, teaching tracks, and discussions so that those whom you have called to shepherd your churches may be strengthened to serve. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, we lift to you all in our congregation who are facing health challenges in body, mind, and spirit. Place their heavy burdens upon your shoulders and lead them to the still, living waters where true restoration is found in you alone. Give this church your strength so that we might endure all things together. Give us ears to hear your voice, which speaks to us through the scriptures, that where you call us Lord, we may follow you to life eternal.
Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
