Order of Worship
Download today's bulletin PDF for the entire order of worship and more.
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Gracious Lord, open the hearts of all people to pay attention and to receive your word. Send your missionaries to all parts of the world to share the gospel with all peoples so that by hearing, they may believe and be saved. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Eternal God, you have made your ways known on earth through your son Jesus. Teach us at all times and for all things to call upon his name first. Lead us with your Holy Spirit and fill every heart in this congregation with joy, heartfelt worship, loving service, truthful witness, deep prayer, and loving fellowship. Make us instruments of your word so we may proclaim it to our friends and neighbors in need. Use us to share the light of your love and joy in the darkest corners of their lives. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We lift up to you, Lord Jesus, all the names dear to our hearts and minds of those who gave their all in service to their country and their neighbors, who have passed from this world to the kingdom with you. May our humble remembrance honor their memory and glorify you, O Lord, so that we remember your words when we pray: “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, we lift to you all in our congregation who are facing health challenges in body, mind, and spirit. Place their heavy burdens upon your shoulders and comfort them with the truth that you have overcome the world and defeated the powers of sin, death, and the devil. Give this church your strength so that we might endure all things together. Give us ears to hear the sound of your voice, which speaks to us through the scriptures, and bring us to the remembrance that we are but passing through this world, but our true home is eternally with you. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
