Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Gracious Lord, we thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit, who opens us to hear your words proclaimed. Give the light of your gospel to those who walk in darkness so that they might listen to it, repent, and believe. Gather us together under your cross as one body of witnesses that we might rejoice and proclaim in true faith until you come again. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Eternal God, you have given your church the commission to carry your word to the nations and the ends of the world — to baptize and administer the sacrament of the Holy Supper to all needing your forgiveness and grace. Raise up and call from among us, pastors, lay ministers, teachers, and evangelists. Give them discernment and strength to answer so that in words and deed they may serve and glorify you always. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, we do not cease giving thanks to all you have called to serve your church here, our mission partners, and your churches everywhere. Bless this congregation and tune our hearts to sing your praise and to do your will. We pray your blessings especially for those in seasons of difficulty and significant challenges. Lord, we ask your mercy on those poor in spirit, in times of trial, and facing loss. Fill them with your peace and the assurance that you have conquered all, namely sin, death, and the devil, and have ascended to the Father’s right hand. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Everlasting God, you have given us your Holy Spirit and Word, transforming hearers into believers. Make this church a place where your Word is taught and shared in the home and outside, to neighbors and family alike. Keep your Spirit active among the church body, where our relationships, conversations, interactions, vocational and family callings always glorify you. Bless the youth of this church with a strong desire and hunger to know you, and a love to share your story wherever it is needed. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
