Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Gracious Lord, we thank you for the gift of your holy word, our common language through which you speak to us. By the power of your Holy Spirit, give us ears to hear you and the desire to seek you in the scriptures daily. Through it, nourish us that we may be strengthened in the face of trial and be of humble service to our neighbors. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Eternal God, we thank you for all you have given us and all the blessings you bestow upon your church, and especially we lift up to you today our youth. Keep our confirmands in your word so that they return to it daily in the practices they have adopted here. Light their steps and make known to them your ways so that they may teach others either in your word or by example. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, you have sent your Holy Spirit to guide, counsel, and bring us to the remembrance of your words. Descend upon the hearts and minds of everyone in this congregation. Cause us to shine the light of Christ on the lives of those who need him most. Conform us ever more perfectly to his blessed likeness. We pray for and lift to you those in seasons of difficulty and significant challenges. Fill them with the peace that you alone can give, which can quiet and still the troubled and fearful heart. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Everlasting Father, we pray you pour your Holy Spirit upon all flesh. You remind us at Pentecost that your gospel must be shared with all nations and languages. Send from among us preachers, teachers, and proclaimers of your word that many who hear it may be brought to belief in your son and be saved. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
