Order of Worship

Heavenly Father, quiet our anxious hearts that we may seek you in all things and at all times, amid tribulation and tranquility. Give us faith to believe against our own understanding and reason, and help us to remember in our most desperate hour, all that you have done, and let us always be reminded that nothing is too difficult for the Lord. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, strengthen your church on earth. Make it a stronghold for those oppressed by the enemy of this world, and give it courage to proclaim Your name to everyone everywhere. Give us a resilient and confident hope in the saving power of your cross, and teach us your ways that we may follow. Build up your Church in mature faith, patient suffering, generous service, and gracious hospitality. Use it to reveal the mysteries of your love, so that many people seek your face, and live. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Eternal Father, we thank you for our departed loved ones who now receive that good portion that shall never be taken from them. Help us to comfort those who mourn. Grant patience and endurance this week and in the coming weeks as we pray for the families and friends of Helen Howe, Linda Beaver, and Mark Lowery. Be with them during their time of grief and suffering and give them the peace, presence, and love of your son, a true peace that surpasses all understanding and love that endures and bears all things. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Holy and gracious Lord, be with all those who serve you all over the world. Strengthen missionaries who carry your word to all creation, even amid persecution. Turn hearts who are hostile toward you to repentance and faith. Be with families affected by natural disasters everywhere. Grant all those who are afflicted, rest, mercy and peace. Be with all first responders who rush to the aid of their neighbor, and give them your strength, wisdom, patience and love that in all they do, may glorify you. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
