Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Eternal Father, grant your church on earth wisdom and strength that they may turn away from dishonest teaching and vain words, and into the hands of the truth of your law and gospel. Make your people hungry and thirsty for your word, that we may be examined and counseled by it daily, that it may equip us and ghear our prayeruide us, that we may stand fast together as faithful servants in faith.
Lord in your mercy, .
Lord Jesus, you perfectly understand the depths of our hearts and minds. Grant us sincere repentance and steadfast faith. Ignite our hearts with the purifying fire of your Holy Spirit, so that all our words and actions reflect your truth. Use us as instruments of your will in the lives of our neighbors, that they too may come to believe in you and find salvation. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Heavenly Father, bring comfort and peace to those suffering from global disasters, persecution, illness, and mental anguish. Send missionaries to help and be with them in their time of need. Equip them with your words and faith so they can share it, shining light into the darkest places and times. Grant all the ears to understand the promise of your son, salvation, and teach all to cling to your word so they can find hope during their struggles. We also lift up those who are homebound or living in nursing homes. Make your church faithful in sharing your word with them and be present during their most vulnerable moments so they can hear the promise of your kingdom and believe. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Holy and gracious Lord, you have graced us with the present time that we may know you have come and will come again. Grant us strength and faith that we may endure in all seasons, be it rain or scorching heat, any hardships or persecutions that come with following you. When we are in need, teach us always to cry out to you above all things, help us to cling to your word, where we will find protection and refuge. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Teaching
Feel free to open or download this week's preview of the lessons. We send this to our homebound with a bulletin each week and thought you might like to have a copy as well. You may read it online or print it out. It includes prayers, brief teaching on each of the four lessons for Sunday, an overview, and an additional Word Search based on the Gospel Lesson.
Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. For those outside our locale, we do livestream our services into this page, as well as to YouTube and Facebook.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
