Sermon: Hold Fast
God has blessed us with something special at St. Paul's. Join us in worship Sunday at 10:30am for a message from Pastor Ryman about holding fast to all that God has given before it slips away, as well as sacred music, readings from the four major sections of the Holy Bible, the Lord's Supper, and a chat with our children and Pastor Lord.

Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Good and gracious God, shepherd all who are in darkness to the light of your son Jesus Christ. Help them to hear his voice through the hearing of the gospel that they might know him, believe, and be delivered from the hand of sin, death, and the devil. Descend upon the hearts of those who call out to you in times of anxiousness, in times of uncertainty and in times of distress, that they may find mercy and help in a time of need. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, we ask for your continued mercy and strength for this church's ministry and mission, as well as for our global partners. We pray that you will protect and encourage your missionaries everywhere. Grant them endurance and strength so that they may not grow weary in their efforts to share the gospel. Be with your churches that are suffering persecution and hardships all over the world. Be with your servants and help them to stand firm in faith and establish them in every good work and word. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Eternal Father, be with those who are homebound, hospitalized, or in nursing facilities, suffering physically, mentally, or spiritually. Nourish them with your Holy supper and strengthen them with your word that they would not be shaken in their hour of distress but renewed. Send them visitors and encourage them with fellowship and with prayer. Be with all those called to care for the sick among us that they, too, would be renewed and invigorated by the power of your Holy Spirit. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, one day you will raise up all who believe in your name for salvation, to eternal life with you. Until that great and glorious day, help us keep our eyes fixed on you and our ears on your word in all that we do, and in all whom we serve. Be with our first responders and those whose work is difficult and dangerous, as well as those whom you have called to protect us. Shield them in their endeavors to keep us all safe from harm and danger. Be with their families and those who love and pray for them, where they might have anxious thoughts, deliver them to the promise of your mercy and love. Fill your people with the power of your Holy Spirit, that they would pour out their gifts in a manner worthy and that glorifies you always. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. We also livestream our services on this page.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
