Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.

Lord Jesus, we pray for all those gathered this day in your father's house. Bestow your blessings upon your church as we gather in your name. Receive our questions with patience. Turn our fears into trust. Place us where we need to be. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Everlasting Father, may the light of your Christ rise upon the hearts and minds of this congregation, but especially those near to us who are experiencing health concerns, and are homebound, or in care facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes. Come to the aid of all those who are in need of healing and peace at this present time. Deliver all who cry to you in distress, preserve them and defend them according to your holy will. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Lord Jesus, you draw all nations to yourself and have made us fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise through the gospel. Through baptism, you make us citizens of your heavenly kingdom and members of your church. Keep your son, Jacob Michael Cannon, in your grace and mercy so that he may faithfully grow to lead a godly life in all that you call him to do according to your holy and divine will. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Jesus, our good shepherd, guide all those you have called to serve your church. We lift to you those recently elected to represent your flock here at Saint Paul’s. Grant them patience, wisdom, peace, and an earnest desire to seek after the needs of your church, that you would be glorified in all that they are called to do here. Help us always to pray for those whom you have put in places to serve, that we would be good stewards of all that you give us. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
