Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Lord God, on this day we thank you for the beautiful pictures you paint in the sky. Help us to stop and appreciate the beauty of the earth. We thank you for eyes to see, especially the eyes of the heart you have given us in your grace, so that faith has apprehended that most glorious portrait, that of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We have been blind but now, we see. Nonetheless, Holy Spirit, we still need to be led in the way. Turn the present darkness of these evil days into the light of your Christ, that we may follow where he leads. Give us seeing eyes so that your path may be our own, both in this life and the life to come. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, help us discern your will and what is pleasing to you. Wake us up and shine upon us, so that we may walk as children of the light. When we stumble, forgive us and grant your peace to us. We ask that this same blessed peace of Jesus would attend the Honbarger and Huffman families, and all those who mourn and suffer among us. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
From eternity, Father, no one has opened the eyes of the blind but your Son. We thank you that he has opened our blind eyes so that you would be glorified by the works you display in us. Help us to wash daily in the one you sent into the world, bathing in his light so that we might show your way to those who stumble in the dark. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Visitors Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. We also livestream our services on this page.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
