Order of Worship
Download today's bulletin PDF for the entire order of worship and more.
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Thank you, Father, for sparing us the judgment we deserve. Help us turn away from the false gods in whom we vainly trust. Work in us real repentance so that we may know your mercy and love, and so, learn to depend upon you alone for all our good. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Jesus, you were afflicted for our sins. You even suffered death for us when we should have been stricken instead. Teach us wisdom, even if through the comparatively minor afflictions of this life, so that we may always return to you and keep your word. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Holy Spirit, remind us of the promise of Christ Jesus. Show us again at the holy meal what he has done for us. Impress upon us that life and salvation depend upon faith in your grace alone. Give us the faith of Abraham so that we too, may take you at your word, believing against hope that we really are saved and that eternity with you awaits all who believe on Christ. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Jesus, as you invited Matthew and the other tax collectors and sinners to recline with you at table, give us (sinners all) the strength of spirit to follow you to your altar this morning. In this “sacrament of the tempted,” move us beyond our urges to doubt and fear and be anxious about our sins. Instead, may we know that you have given your body and shed your blood for us, for each one of us, so that we might be redeemed from sin, death, and the devil to be your people, your possession, and so, be in your blessed company forever. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Visitors Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. We also livestream our services on this page.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
