Order of Worship

Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Gracious Lord, we ask for your protection over all your churches all over the world who proclaim your gospel in the face of violence, persecution, and terror. Make your church an instrument of your truth and peace. Raise up missionaries, pastors, and all those who might discern the call of ministry. Equip them, and fill them with your Holy Spirit, that when standing in the face of opposition and trials, they would commit their cause to only you. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Everlasting Father, we pray for all men you have called to become fathers, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers. Fill them with the fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help them to place their whole trust in you, O Lord, that they may be bound to you in your gracious love. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, we pray for all those who are sick and who are homebound. Gladden their hearts with visitors and the prayers of others who think of them—encourage them with phone calls, cards, and letters.
We humbly ask you to be with all who are grieving and in mourning over the loss of a loved one. Bring them to the truth of your promised deliverance for all who believe that they have been set free from sin, and now enjoy the free gift of God, which is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Merciful Savior, who has brought us from death to life, sanctify us through your Holy Spirit, that our hearts would burn to love your law and trust in your grace. Help us to abide under your shadow when we become discouraged and pressed upon by the enemy. Keep us in your ways, that in all things and at all times we would acknowledge you before others. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. We also livestream our services on this page.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
