Order of Worship
Download today's bulletin PDF for the entire order of worship and more.
Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Gracious Lord, give your church on earth the courage to speak your words of truth and life into a world marked by sin and death, without fear. Make us faithful servants of your word, daily taking up our cross and following wherever you would lead us. Bless all who have been called to serve, both within your church and beyond it. Help us carry the light of your truth into every place and every endeavor, so that all may see the cross of your salvation. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Everlasting Father, we give you thanks for all those whom you gather to teach and volunteer in Vacation Bible Schools in all places and especially here, that their efforts would bear fruit in the lives of these children. We ask you to grow the children you have brought to this church and every church on earth in true faith, helping them to know and love your law and the gospel. Make them strong in their witness, so that as they mature, they will pass on what they have learned to the next generation. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord Jesus, we pray for all those who have been ravaged by wars, famine, and natural disasters all over the world. Be with all who are suffering in body, mind, and spirit — all who are living in despair and send them emissaries of your mercy, that they might receive you in their time of need. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Merciful Savior, we give you thanks for all things that you provide us each day and for the salvation you assure us in your cross. Help us to fear, love, and trust you above all things. Instruct our hearts in your law, that we would know the fullness of our transgression. Fill us with your gospel, that we would repent of our sins, and seek rest in the comfort of your grace. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
Teaching
Open or download this week's preview of the lessons. We send this to our homebound with a bulletin each week and thought you might like to have a copy as well. You may read it online or print it out. It includes prayers, brief teaching on each of the four lessons for Sunday, an overview, and an additional Word Search based on the Gospel Lesson.
Visitors Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. We also livestream our services on this page.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
