Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
As you led the captives back to Jerusalem, we pray that you would lead us too, Holy Spirit, to the promised New Jerusalem. Accomplish the salutary purpose of your word, Lord God, to bring us into your eternal Sabbath rest. Even so, teach us to honor the Sabbath, keeping it holy, embracing your Word as sacred, and gladly hearing and learning it. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
We thank you for the rain we have had this week, Father. We would not mind a good bit more. We are grateful for how you care for the earth and all things, that when we think all the fields will dry up, you bring the latter rains and sustain your creation. Just so, when our iniquities prevail against us, remind us that you have atoned for our transgressions for Christ’s sake. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
You bear witness, Spirit of Christ, with our spirits that we are children of God. Help us to not fall back into fear of all you have conquered, Lord Jesus. You have conquered sin, death, the devil, and hell. May we not fear these things but instead, trust in you and have your peace. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Make the soil of our hearts good soil, fertile and rich, that bears fruit for your kingdom. Especially help our homebound and all those who suffer or mourn among us, and those who are lonely, to not lose the joy they have in you. In their tribulations, keep them in the faith. May the cares of the world not choke out their peace in you but instead cause their roots in you to grow deep and hold fast. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy — through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Visitors Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. We also livestream our services on this page.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
