Let us pray for the whole people of God, in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.

Eternal Father, shape your church on earth in the spirit of Ezekiel’s watchmen, that we may proclaim your Word with devotion, guiding all toward repentance and the fullness of life found in Jesus Christ. Bestow upon us the wisdom and fortitude to embody this testimony in our daily walking. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Lord Jesus, we lift up all who labor under the heavy burden of sin and shame. May they find in you a secure refuge, where the walls of your grace offer protection against despair, and where the light of your forgiveness dissolves the shadows of past mistakes. Grant them the assurance of your constant presence and the steady guidance of your unfailing love, as promised in the Psalms, that they may walk in the freedom and peace you alone provide. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Heavenly Father, we bring before you all who hold positions of leadership and public trust, praying that you guide them to govern with integrity and uprightness. We ask also for your people everywhere, that we may be united in love and carry out your commandments by extending compassionate care to our neighbors. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Good and Gracious God, we pray for this congregation and for all gathered in your name, that you would fill our hearts with true humility—a childlike trust and openness before you and one another. Cleanse us from pride, self-righteousness, and division, and grant us the grace to forgive without limit, as we have been forgiven in Christ. Help us actively pursue reconciliation where there is strife, listen with patience, and build up the unity of your Church so our shared life reflects your enduring peace and love to the world. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Compassionate Savior, we bring before you all who feel forgotten, afflicted, or isolated—most especially those living in care facilities, receiving care in rehab centers, or recovering in hospitals. We also ask your gentle presence to surround all who are walking through seasons of sorrow and loss. Assure them that they are precious and sought after in your eyes, and empower us to serve as instruments of your comforting love, presence, and restoration. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
