Prayers of the Church
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, and for all people according to their needs.
Gather your people, O Lord. Gather the elect from the throughout the earth and make us one in you. And gather the St. Paul’s family that they may be a congregation. Bring your children back into this sanctuary. Call them as a Father, that they may return to you in worship and praise. In thy mercy, we beseech thee to hear us, good Lord.
You have done great things for us, O Lord. Though we have been in a kind of captivity for nearly two years, O God, we know that you can bring us home. Make us glad again, Lord, so that you may hear all of your people’s praise. In thy mercy, we beseech thee to hear us, good Lord.
Thank you, Father, for providing us with a great High Priest, who serves us with righteousness and truth. Through Christ alone, through his sacrificial death and resurrection, you have brought us into the light of your glory and given us the certain promise of eternal life. Help those who are hurting among us to know the confidence of your promise, especially those whom we name before you now… In thy mercy, we beseech thee to hear us, good Lord.
We were blind but your cause us to see. Youi have healed us all of a greater blindness than was Bartimaeus’. We are all beggars; this is true. Help us to follow you, our Teacher, our True Vision, our Daily Bread. Instruct us in the way; open our eyes, and fill us, Good Lord. In thy mercy, we beseech thee to hear us, good Lord.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy—through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Visitor Info
We invite you to join us for an in-person service. St. Paul's features traditional worship and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions—all in a friendly, family-like environment. Our worship services are traditional and liturgical. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays, as well as other festival Sundays.
You may notice in today's service that we welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon Pastor Ryman has a chat with the children. You're going to love this part of the service.
Our services are mask-optional.
