Come have coffee, juice, and donuts on the lawn in front of the church this Sunday as our children and youth are advanced to higher classes of Christian education. Each advancing student will receive a Bible appropriate for their age. Our children, under the direction of Crystal Canup, will also sing songs they have been learning at the start of Sunday School.

Our Sunday School teachers will also be recognized and installed during the 10:30am service of worship. 

If you have not joined a class, come this Sunday and get involved in the Word together. Here they are:

Pre-K, 2nd floor
Kindergarten – 2nd grade, second floor
3rd grade – 5th grade, second floor
Middle School, second floor
High School, second floor
Young Adult, second floor
Adult Class, first floor
Adult Class, fellowship hall
Large Catechism, counting room

This Sunday is also a great time for us to renew our commitment to learning God's Word throughout the week. Morning Prayer (M–F at 8:30am in the counting room) and Vespers (Sundays at 6pm in the parsonage) are small group discussions of the Bible readings in the Daily Lectionary. Those readings may be found by clicking "Daily Word" above on the navigation bar. 

Pastor Lord leads Bible studies on Tuesdays at 10am and 6pm in the classroom across the hall from the kitchen. Join them. 

Pastor Lord also teaches The Small Catechism to our youth. If your child is in the 7th grade or older and would like to conform their baptism, please call the church office to enroll for this class, starting the first Wednesday in September.

There are also resources under "Resources/Devotions" above on the navigation bar. There you will find self-study materials and devotions on the Small and Large Catechisms, the Lutheran Confessions, Reading the Bible in a Year, and daily readings with Luther.
