Scripture Text: Galatians 3:12 and Romans 3:19–22

Because Jesus’ sacrifice fulfills the law, the law may only be performed perfectly if done through faith in Jesus Christ, in his righteousness. If we try to obtain righteousness by doing the law, we are condemned at the outset. However, when one is made righteous through faith in the Righteous Man, all his deeds are deemed good. Righteousness does not come from deeds but righteous deeds do rightly follow faith.
