• I also am a doctor and preacher as learned and experienced as all those who are so full of themselves. Yet, every morning, and whenever else I have time, I do as a child who is being taught the Catechism. I read and say word for word, the Ten Commandments, the Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, the Psalms, etc. I must still read and study daily, and yet I cannot master it as I wish, but must remain a child and pupil of the Catechism. I am happy to remain such a child. [The Augsburg Confession, Introduction]
• Benediction: May you honor God’s name and day, and be of humble service to your neighbor because the Lord alone is your God. Amen.
